Reading Strategies

Many parents ask "What can we do at home to help support my child's reading." It is very important to read to them or let them read to you every night. Show them that reading is important and fun. Modeling this behavior will make them excited about their learning. If you can do nothing else, encourage and praise, praise, praise them when you see or hear them reading.
